The Startups 100 is an annual list which ranks the most promising disruptive startups coming out of the UK.
Startups 100 alumni include Deliveroo, Monzo, and Revolut – all of which have gone on to become major household names.
The Startups 100 list takes any UK company that has been trading for 5 years or less and assesses them based on financial progress, age of business, relative growth and the business idea. The methodology allows a range of promising startups from across sectors to be recognised.
Incube Space is delighted to debut on the list at number 42. This is the beginning of the journey to bring flexibility to the built world.
Incube Space are newcomers to the Startups 100 list – and for a newcomer to come in at number 42 is no small feat. They have won a couple other awards in their so-far short lifetime, including being nominated for Most Innovative Proptech Business at the UK PropTech Association (UKPA) Awards 2019.
Incube also took the initiative during the COVID-19 outbreak, quickly developing COVID-safe cube workspaces to help people stay safe while getting back to work in a volatile time.
As for their upcoming plans, Incube Space has its hands full with the COVID-proof cubes for now, but they are a company worth keeping tabs on. As they expand and assimilate more revolutionary and cost-effective workspaces, it may only be a matter of time before we see the new Incube workspace become the standard.

At Incube the current focus is to support commercial real estate landlords and tenants reopen their workspaces and build in flexibility into the built world in any new spaces they open.
Cubes are modular smart wall panels that allow workspaces to be built up, reconfigured and broken down on demand. Cubes are available on a monthly subscription with panels, delivery, install, maintenance, technology and reconfigurations all included.
Inbuilt sensors provide insights into how a workspace is being used and CubeOS, the underlying technology layer, makes recommendations on how to reconfigure your workspace layouts to optimise for revenue generation, occupier comfort or operational efficiency.
At Incube we are seeing an acceleration of adoption and demand as we ease out of lockdown and workspaces are looking to truly futureproof their spaces as we move forward into the new normal.
We look forward to the release of the Startups 100 list of 2021 and see if we’ve been able to progress up the list!
