The annual report is put together by Retail Insider in partnership with Trust Systems and with support from an impressive advisory panel. The report ranks 60 digital retail innovations from across the world, by four different criteria – how innovative, how potentially commercial, potential influence across the sector, and potential benefit to consumers. Each of the panel independently scored the 60 innovations in the report.
At Incube we have predominantly focussed on improving energy efficiency and occupier comfort in the office sector via our predictive building intelligence platform that uses space utilisation data to pro-actively optimise HVAC performance, ensuring optimal occupier comfort whilst at the same time we also drastically reduce energy waste.
As we develop, we are expanding into new industries where the same theory can apply. This includes educational buildings, healthcare, transport hubs and retail. In shopping centres and large retail outlets or warehouses, ensuring the right thermal comfort is imperative as well as reducing energy waste and maximising margins.
We received a score of 632, putting us at 29 out of 60 in the report amongst some large global brands and up-and-coming startups.
